Containers were put to good use after the floods when the Cunningham Highway subsided badly and traffic was brought down to one lane.  About 30 shipping containers are positioned one on top of the other and then filled with gravel and used to prevent further slippage.

Work still in progress, containers still holding out 14 months later.
